Perfecting Holiness
Our foundation for believing comes not from our intellect but from our sense of relationship with the Father. If we receive Him and put our confidence in Him, that relationship will grow continually. The Spirit in us starts as a baby and as we allow the fire of God to consume those things in us that do us harm and keep us from His perfect will, holiness is perfected in…
Who Is On The Lord’s Side?
The church denies that perfection is possible, yet God granted us robes of white linen and created in us a new man who cannot sin. We serve an indwelling God who teaches us to think like Him and reject sin. Through our surrender and consecration, our priestly garments, the world can see truth & the moral absolutes that God has created.
The Genesis of Jesus
What God started in Genesis He begins again in the New Covenant. Adam, created with the very breath of God was tasked with keeping the weeds out of the Garden, creating a place of sanctuary & peace, and to fill the earth with people – God’s family. God reopened the place of peace & tranquility to us with Jesus, and we’re tasked with multiplying life – Kingdom life – in…
Thought Process (Malachi 3 & 4)
God sent a verbal confrontation to the Israelites through a verbal prophet addressing 7 ways they had lost touch with God. They had wandered so far from Him they forgot His blessings and favor toward them, they no longer felt His love for them and they no longer feared Him or felt His Spirit and Presence. Church today is not hearing God, not fearing God and lacks His…
Forgotten Covenant (Malachi)
The priesthood was meant to be messengers of God, instead, they did (and still do) cause many to stumble because of their unfaithfulness to truth and the covenant of Levi. Jesus lived the covenant relationship so perfectly that He found people who would follow Him in the midst of people who had lost God completely. We’re called to live a covenant life that will draw…
The Author Of My Life
Jesus authored our lives as He lived His. We need to learn of Him, to use what He said and did and apply it to our lives. As we allow Him to lead us through in faith and obedience, the Kingdom is revealed and the world sees us as witnesses to how the Kingdom works in love, peace, faith, truth, hope and they will want in. We need to stop listening to the voice that…
Transparency
God wouldn’t allow his people to have brotherhood with false things under the old covenant and He certainly won’t under the new. It’s easy to look religious, to fool people into thinking you have a relationship with God – but real believers know that God sees and knows our thoughts. One who understands the value of real relationship with Him gets transparent with Him to…
Crowns (Zech 6) (Part 10)
4 men who came through captivity in Babylon were part of the ordination of Joshua – 4 ordinary men who didn’t partake of the things of the world and obeyed God. As we walk in faithfulness and choose Him over the world, we’ll gain crowns as well.
Chariots and Horses (Zech Part 9)
In Zechariah 6 God reveals to us that warfare will surround the church – but we are part of God’s conquering force. Whatever we need in battle, God will supply. Scripture: Zech 6:1, Rev 6:1-4, Matt 10:16-38
Righteousness & Love (1 John)
The Bible tells us that we have righteousness by faith – but we are also compelled by Jesus’ life and example to do righteousness – and that certainly includes loving one another. God has a plan for His church and that plan has a deadline. We must move in concert with one another or, because we’re one body, we slow the progress of His church.
