An Everlasting Foundation
God is bringing us to a place where we understand how important it is that we be about our Father’s business. The world won’t be impacted by us until we let go of it and allow our flesh to be consumed by the fire of God, leaving His power to work in us and through us. Scripture: Prov 10:25, Heb 11:9-10, 1 Kings 18:1-19, Isa 28:1-11
Lowest Level
The flesh always seeks the lowest level, but those who seek to be sons of God yield only to His voice. Scripture: Job 23:1-12, John 1:43-49, John 12:20-27, John 14:1-9
A People of Power
We are certain that if we have the power of God we’d feel it. Not so. We can be weak and still preach in power, have the power of healing because of the Spirit of God. Scripture: 1 Cor 2:1-7, Matt 5:17-19
The Word From The Cross
Words that take us past our flesh to follow Him. Scripture: 1 Cor 1:17-18, Luke 2:22-24, John 12:1-19, John 19:1-6, John 19:17-27
Walking Worthy
We all set someone on the throne of our heart. Adam chose Eve over God. When we do what we want, we choose self over God. There is no peace when there is flesh on the throne instead of God. Walking worthy to be a son means understanding God’s will and living our lives according to that will. Scripture: Col 1:8-11, 1 Sam 25:9-32, 1 Chron 17:1-10, 1 Chron…
Born in Flesh vs Spirit
There is a difference between voices who claim to be Christian. There is a difference between being born of the flesh & born of the Spirit. The Spiritual man has grace and mercy – he’s not above others, just beat up, scarred and obedient. Being born again manifests a genuine and obvious transformation in a person. Scripture: Gal 6:1-15, Matt 21:33-38
Weapons of Our Warfare
Jesus was driven into the wilderness for 40 days and nights to be tormented by the devil. We think He had an advantage we don’t have, but that’s simply not true. He emptied Himself and came in the flesh – just like us and He had to learn how to fight spiritual battles just as we do. He fought those battles and left us His example for victory in the…
A Time of Preparation
God is doing things in our lives that are preparatory to motion. Our busyness & ordinary days take our thought process and we’re letting the things of God pass us by. Scripture: Matt 4:12-17, Exod 19:1-6, Matt 11:21-24
No Throne, Just Sight
Chapters 10-12 of the Gospel of Mark reveal to us how the church should operate with our eyes on spiritual things, serving in humility rather than ruling over people. We’re to be an empty vessel, ready for God to fill and use in any way He desires. Our walk is not about gaining a throne – it’s about doing whatever God wants, where He wants it and in…
Flesh Is The Beast
The Bible tells us that the “man of sin” is going to rise up. This is corporate man thinking and responding in the flesh. The Beast is the flesh without God. We will either belong to corporate man or corporate God – the Body of Christ.
