What Is Truth?
The church is at a place where it should never have been – full of confusion. Everyone disagrees and the world knows it. How can this be when Jesus came to bear witness of the truth and every Book of the Bible reveals Him? We are the offspring of God and should be walking in that power and truth.
Vision
King Saul’s primary weakness was that he didn’t identify with any kingdom other than his own. He lacked both passion and vision. Fighting the enemy was just a job for him and he didn’t identify with the people he was fighting the battle for. The Church must get God’s vision, and be filled with a passion to defend ourselves and those around us from the attacks of the…
Believing
We need to come to the place where we believe, truly believe, the things that God is saying. When we come to that place, God can use us to speak to those around us what He would say to them were He standing there when they need Him. A need specific word straight from Him through the mouth that He has given us. Time with God strips us of the hardness and unbelief that…
The Leaven of the Pharisees
The Bible tells us to beware the leaven of the Pharisees, and Jesus defines that leaven as hypocrisy. The Pharisees were focused on outside appearances and not concerned with the state of the inward man. They looked good, but didn’t know God. Pastor Ricley challenges us to examine our own relationship with God by the Word of Truth. Are we religious or Christian? Are we…
The Bethlehem Strategy
God knows how to bring us to the place where we can separate truth from lies. Religion can cause you to define God how you want, allow you to do what you want to do. False god versus True God. John saw God with eyes as flames of fire searching for dross that needs to be burned out. Saw the God who spoke light into existence. Bethlehem strategy gives us Jesus, born in a…
Truth Re the Trinity Doctrine
Pastor Ricley answers the question about what the Bible teaches about the Trinity Doctrine.
Fire is Better than Water
Few talk about how Jesus promised to send “another Comforter” – the Holy Spirit to bring us comfort in the storms. God comes inside us, births us of the Spirit, so we can have relationship with Him. We repent, are born again and are baptized in the Holy Spirit. The rebirth opens our ears to His voice and it’s the fire baptism that leaves in ashes those things we want out…
Under God’s Dominion
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and Daniel refused what the world had to offer them in the palaces of Babylon and remained under the dominion of God. We have things in our lives we need to set aside in consecration to God in order to experience the joy of right relationship with Him. Only one Kingdom will stand when it’s all said and done and we want to be on the side of…
Thunder
God speaks like thunder. When you hear thunder, you’re close to the rain. God saves our soul and we doubt that He’ll get us through our Christian experiences, but the sound of thunder throughout the Bible tells us there’s nothing He can’t do, nothing we need that He can’t provide.
Faith in Action
The conviction of the truth that ends in right actions. The result of faithfulness is change. Faith is not fairy dust that removes our responsibility to obey what God wants. If we choose not to obey, there is also a mountain of cursing. There is a highway of holiness and it’s defined by God’s Word. We need to have faith in both the blessings and His correction. God won’t…
