The Excellence of Christ

Luke wrote his Gospel about the Perfect Man in the midst of the Jewish worldview of “We’re better than everyone else” and the Greek worldview which was self-centered and about man’s wisdom.  Both had the same information about God, but having the information is not the same as having the revelation of Him.  It’s only through the revelation of Christ that we can be transformed to be like Him.
