Chapters 10-12 of the Gospel of Mark reveal to us how the church should operate with our eyes on spiritual things, serving in humility rather than ruling over people. We’re to be an empty vessel, ready for God to fill and use in any way He desires. Our walk is not about gaining a throne – it’s about doing whatever God wants, where He wants it and in whatever conditions exist. Bartimaeus didn’t desire the throne the disciples asked for – he only wanted sight. When we see Him as He is, we shall be like Him. Scripture: Mark 10:35-52, Mark 12:35-37, Psa 110:1
